A Mood...

I haven't been writing much because I have been in a "mood".For about half of the day I am genuinely happy. For the other half I have to try my hardest  to be happy and, without fail, there is a moment in everyday that I become extremely angry, uncomfortable, and sad. I am STRESSED OUT about so much. I feel like my life is going NOWHERE. To top it off I barely make any money anymore so one, I feel like this big useless burden on my husband and two, I feel SUPER POOR. To top it all off, now we have all this new crap to pay for. I am (most likely) starting Brandman University this fall as a full-time student at about 2k a trimester. My husband is starting classes, part time, at the Art Institute this fall (which is AWESOME and I am very excited for him) which is about 2k per class. We just got a $1200, yes that is not a typo, ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS, phone bill for roaming charges in the Dominican (we paid for an overseas plan but NOBODY told us that our phones will use a BAGALLION kilobytes of data when it just sits there). I have been on the phone with Verizon for 3 consecutive days but everyone I speak to refuses to help.  We want to get the AC fixed on the truck before we go to the family Cornfest but that will cost a cool $700. It is funny how all these sudden charges show up when you have spent all your money on a Wedding.

Anyway, I am not sure if my sadness is all about money or I have some type of other emotional issue that makes our money woes bigger than they actually are (T thinks we will be perfectly fine). I just wish I could shake this feeling. It's terrible...

PISSED

Urgh. I woke up today is the worst mood! It has pretty much ruined my day off (I am determined to make it better, so we will see where it goes). T has basically told me that he would be ignoring me all day to hang out with his buddies (he didn't quite say it like that but that is what I got from the convo) just like he did last night.

His best friend is going into training for a month and 2 more of his friends are deploying in two weeks, and I completely understand that but I don't appreciate being ignored. Especially when I have nobody to hang out with down here.

Bleh,I guess I will wedding plan on my own.

Feeling A Little Blue

I've been in an odd mood lately. I've been pretty down. Sitting in bed alone is soooo depressing (and the fact that I am gaining weight makes me upset. I feel like a tub of lard). You'd think because I've made it through a deployment a Field Op would be no big deal but it all hurts the same. So tomorrow and Wednesday I am going to spend the night at my parents. My mom and I (possibly my sister too) are going to shop for some household things and do some wedding planning.

I think it will really lift my spirits.

I hope all of you are having a great week!

BEEOTCH

Well, T has been back from the field for a few days so he can teach a class. So we had the chance to spend a little time together and I feel slightly bad for being a beeotch for half of last night. I get into these moods where I have NO patience for anything, so needless to say we got into a little tiff on our way to dinner (and during the beginning of dinner which I am sure was awkward for our poor waitress and the people around us). BUT I apologized for my lameness and we ended the night on a great note (complete with doughnuts and orange juice) (P.S Joe's Crab Shack is so good!! Their crab buckets are so amazing they will resolve any tension in your relationship, trust me). So now T is off to 29 for a little more time then he will be back home. Yay! He is planning a picnic at our favorite spot in Laguna Beach after his return. Kudos to him for thinking about something that cute!

So since he is now gone (again) I think today I am just going to veg out in my parent's bed (it is so big and comfy, I refuse to move) maybe I might even do some homework and clean my car. We will see if that actually happens ha. OR since our weather has returned back to the normal beautiful, sunny 75 degree weather I know and love, I may take a ride on my beach cruiser.

Anyway....like it even matters what I MIGHT do because I will inevitably write about what I ACTUALLY  end up doing.

Sorry for this scatterbrained post I just thought I'd write something so you all know I am still alive and kickinh. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

P.S For all those lovely new followers I received this past week: Thanks for finding my blog!! Be sure you leave a comment with your blog URL I'd love to check out your blogs and follow too!

Why I Hate California

There are a plethora of things I can include in this post about my disdain for California. I could write about how marijuana lovers and their quest to legalize the DRUG has taken over every street corner and classroom debate, It drives me CRAZY! "Marijuana is safer that any other substance, even alcohol!"  Okay you low life pot-head, tell me that when you have Schizophrenia 10 years.

Or I can write about how it is IMPOSSIBLE to get into a university in California. I can't get a bachelors degree in Community College, San Diego State, how about you start accepting more than 10% of applicants?

Or I can witch about how much ANYTHING and EVERYTHING costs. $400 dollars to register my car? You jerks.

I COULD talk about all that stuff and more but this post is about something I hate more. TRAFFIC.

Tonight, a Sunday night, at 9pm I was stuck in traffic! I totally understand being stuck in traffic during the morning commute or even on the way to the beach on a nice day, but on a Sunday? Really?! As I am leaving Camp Pendleton, after I spent a wonderful day with T and a few friends, I get stuck in gridlock on the 5. And I literally mean gridlock. I was going about 2 miles per hour for half of my trip. The other half I was going, wait for it, 30 miles per hour. A 45 minute drive took me an OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF!  Just like the very day before the same drive took me TWO HOURS! TWO HOURS ON A SATURDAY?! Where the heck are all these people going?

I would understand if there was maybe an accident or lanes were blocked BUT NOOO this traffic was just due to too many people driving at once. (I have never understood traffic. How can traffic occur if there is no accident or some type of obstruction in the road?) The best thing about my entrapment in the trafficy hell hole I like to call the 5, is that there are no exits the whole drive. If you have ever driven to Camp Pendleton, you know. If you haven't let me paint you a picture. My drive to Camp Pendleton is about 30 miles. 20 of those miles are "nothingness". Just the glorious ocean to one side, and miles and miles of uninhabited Camp Pendleton on the other. So while I was stuck in traffic, I would have LOVED to take side streets home, but I couldn't. I was trapped!

WHY CALIFORNIA!? Please, do something to tame the traffic. I may just buy a motorcycle. There is nobody I envy more than those bikers zipping though the middle of the gridlock. If that was me I'd be laughing manically at the poor people stuck in the car while I'd be whipping up the middle of the lanes.

I had to get this off my chest. Traffic can make people go koo-koo, myself included. On a lighter note. I have been noticing I have been pretty whiny lately. In my real life and on my bloggy blog. So after writing this rant I have decided I am going to be more positive about everything. Power of positive thinking. It will be good stuff!

I've Got A Case Of The Monday's

First, I must extend a thank you to all you lovely ladies who gave me advice on my last post. Friday at the command BBQ his Chief told us all he would have to do on Monday was come in, talk about the weekend, then everyone will be on their merry way. So with all that free time he was going to fix his truck then come up to my neck of the woods and go out to dinner. WELLLL turns out T ended up working until 1 then when he went to fix his truck, it was far to complicated. (Apparently in 2001 Ford decided to make the spark plugs virtually impossible to reach on their F-150's, so he must take it into the dealership). So no truck means no dinner date. But hopefully the truck will be fixed this week so we can go to dinner and have a good talk about everything.

Now about my Monday. I have had the WORST headache today. I woke up (and by woke up I mean dragged myself out of my bed) and the second I stood upright I felt like someone smashed my head with a hammer. AND I have been feeling this way ALL DAY. This menace in my brain WILL NOT RELENT. It is so bad at some points it makes me want to vomit. What a rude little bugger. Watching "My First Place" with the most annoying and pretentious woman EVER is not helping, and staring at the computer all day probably will not remedy my headache either so I am hoping sleeping will. I am trying to avoid taking medicine but if I still have a headache tomorrow morning I will be popping some pills.

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Tuesday Tag-AlongAnd on a side note (because I am far to lazy to do a new post) It's TUESDAY TAG ALONG! I love finding new blogs and I especially love it when people find mine. So if you are from TTA I welcome you to browse my blog and leave some bloggy love! And be sure to leave a linky-doo to your blog so I can check it out!

I Need Your Advice!

I am really annoyed today. T and I were planning a weekend in Big Bear, then we decided to just stay home and relax THEN his friends wanted to go camping. I like camping but to be 100% honest I am sick of hanging out with his friends. It is all we do. We NEVER do anything with mine. You may think I am exaggerating, but it is the truth. Before he deployed none of my friends ever met him. Then when he came back we went to dinner with 4 of my friends. Where he said only about two words the whole time. Anyway, last night he told me he was not going to go. That we were going to fix his truck and take care of some business. INSTEAD his friends get upset that hes not going. He tells me he wants to go. Annoyed I tell him to "freaking go". So he is camping and I am here. As much as I don't want to be upset about it, I am. I feel like our relationship is VERY one sided. I have even talked to him about it and nothing has changed.

Any Advice?  I can really use some right now.

Things that make me Unhappy

1. Un-invitation?! I was supposed to go camping with TJ and his friends this weekend in the Redwoods and guess who was Un-invited yesterday. Me. Apparently they want it to be a boys weekend. So after my un-invitation, and my official distaste for "boy’s weekend", I am on a quest to have a great weekend of my own. Actually, I'll finally have some ME time, and some time with my friends. So all in all, I know this weekend is going to be perfect. Oh, and TJ is making this up to me BIG TIME, if he doesn't he is going to feel my wrath.

2. Weight Gain?! Ew gross. So for a little back story, I have been generally the same size for the past 4 years EXCEPT FOR NOW! I don't own a scale so I rarely weigh myself unless I am babysitting (they own a scale) and unless I am going skydiving (more on that later) but going off the past 2 weigh-ins I've gained 13 pounds in the past two months. Right around the time TJ came home I was at 107. Pretty much the norm. But when we went skydiving, if it wasn't enough to tell them my weight, they had to throw me on a scale for "safety reasons" which I am sure was to shame all women who, consciously or unconsciously, lied about their weight in the first place. So on that wonderful scale at Skydive Elsinore 120 flashed across the digital screen and one single tear rolled down my cheek. (Not really, I just wanted to create some dramatic effect.) So to remedy this flabby stomach solution, because that's where most of my fatty, fat decided to stick, that and my boobs. But let's be honest, I like my boobs, pre and post fatty, so who cares about that. Anyway, for the fall I enrolled in a 3 day 6:30am to 7:30am cycling/spinning class. Apparently cycling kicks some serious butt, so I am hoping it can kick the fat of my stomach, and I can loose those 13 pounds in 16 weeks.

3. Nancy Drew?! On Friday, Amanda gave me the Nancy Drew Trail of the Twister PC game. You go around solving puzzles and talking to people in order to solve a mystery just as Nancy would. It is so much fun! (Yes, I am playing a Nancy Drew PC game in my free time, don't judge me haha) So I am playing on JR Detective level (haha, yes once again, don't judge) and the puzzles are so freaking hard! How is it that I cannot figure out puzzles made for a 10 year old?! It's really stressing me out; I want to unveil the mystery!

Lame... Everything is Lame...

Much Love,

EMERGENCY!

Oh my gosh. How could I be so naive? How could I think my fat butt could fit into a dress I fit into 3 years ago? The Corpsman Ball is tomorrow and there is a HUGE gap between each sides of the back zipper. Guess what sits between it? My BIG FATTY FLESH! I am going to a tailor first thing in the morning to BEG and PLEAD for them to fix this somehow.

AND, the freaking Lakers won tonight.

It has been a sad, sad night in my household.

This has no purpose, whatsoever.

I am extremely annoyed today.

That's all I have to say about that.
