Ramblings

Here I am, blogging on my lunch break again. Sadly, my wonderful 5 day weekend has come to an end (it's spring break on the campus I work at) and I am back at work. Luckily time is flying by because there is so much to catch up on and work on. I have been thinking a ton about my days off and I REALLY enjoyed it. (Well, what is there not to enjoy about days off?)

But is all seriousness, I felt much more productive staying at home. Yes, bringing in income is productive, and I do LOVE what I do but working full-time, going to school full-time and being a wifey (acting like one for now) is a ton of work.

Anyhow, enough of my self-pity. My days off were AMAZING. I got my house together, attempted to get my taxes done (if the line wasn't 3 hours long both times I went I would have been successful), was able to finish applying for scholarships and did a lot of wedding planning (including bridesmaids dress shopping!). I have this Friday off too and T requested Special Lib (hopefully it's approved) so it's going to be short week and a good weekend!

How is everyone's week going? I hope it's great!

What's YOUR Song Linkup

The lovely Amber at Goodnight Moon is hosting such a fun "What's YOUR Song" linkup. I haven't done a linkup in a while so I am excited about this one!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this song. My BFFFE (best friend for freaking ever) Courtney played it for me one day and I was hooked. I love it so much that this is the song I will be walking down the aisle to. My friend Justin is going to play it on the Guitar while my sister-in-law Hillary (whose voice is hands down the most beautiful I have ever heard) sings the lyrics. (Hopefully it all works out!)

Listen, I guarantee you wont be able to get it out of your head!

Wedding Invitations

Here I am again, on my lunch break blogging! I just wanted to share a little more wedding news. I decided a while back that was going to make my own invitations. After fiddling around with different styles T and I decided we really like the idea of using our engagement photos as our invitations. So here's one I have been fiddling around with (sheesh, I do a lot of fiddling!). I need to figure out how to put full text on the back with times, maps and things like that (almost like a post card)

Sorry it doesn't quite fit on the page right,
I had to make it bigger so you could REALLY see it.

This is just one I have been messing around with. I have a few more that aren't quite finished, I just wanted to know your opinion! (keep in mind more wedding info will be on the back of this)

Thanks Ladies!

I Am Pretty Sure My Sociology Paper Has Turned Into One Big Blog

So my lunch break is just about over and I have spent most of it writing my Sociology paper and another part of it catching up on commenting on everyone's blogs. I am pretty amazed and rather annoyed that while writing this paper I have to try may hardest NOT to write in blog form (with my random italicized interjections and my words in all CAPS and bolded for emphasis) but I can't!

Why can't everything I do for my coursework be just one big blog? I would knock everything out so fast!

Oh snap, lunch is over! Happy Monday all!

Weekend Update

This week has been super crazy. TJ was gone in the field and I was forced to sleep in our big freaking bed alone. I went up to my parents for 2 days, so it was much less lonely and we were able to do A LOT of wedding planning. Plus it was super nice to hang with my Sissy and Mommy, oh and let's not forget KB. I didn't see my Dad much because he works nights (boo, I could never do that!). I also got to hang with my BFFFE (best friend for freaking ever) Courtney. I think it might be time for a high school pic:

Eeek we were so young! I think we were Juniors in HS
And I know what you are thinking, and yes, we ARE on a boat =]
A sailboat, but a boat nonetheless.

Courtney goes to school in Idaho so I am without her for most of the year, but now is her off track so shes back in the hometown! We have so much fun together and we definitely have some great tandem bike & creeper van stories (more on that another time). Anyhow, Courtney came over Thursday night and T was able to come home too! So we had a little sleepover. I am so thankful T lets me still have sleepovers!

On Friday I worked my normal half day (more like a 3/4 day) and I got word that they were sending T BACK to the field. It pretty much ruined my day but after a ton of back and fourth between Senior Chiefs and Lt. Colonels T had to go but was sent back home to be on standby status. Luckily he was not called in and we were able to have a nice weekend at home (well most of which was spent at the neighbors).

Now since I slacked most of this week I have my wedding invites, scholarship apps and a big freaking paper to finish writing. We will see how this all goes. Let's hope I can keep my sanity.

(OMG I am watching Dog Bounty Hunter as I blog and an I amazed at how White Trash these people are. Like whats with the mullett Dog? And Big Titts, would it kill you to wear more clothes? A miniskirt and a American Flag tank top that your titties don't fit in is not appropriate. Not to mention a disgrace to the American Flag.)

Hope you all have a wonderful week. I promise I will blog about some exciting stuff soon =]
